"APPARATUS TO PURIFY AND DISINFECT WATER". The apparatus for purifying and disinfecting water has a tubular housing (1). An inlet end filter stage (10) comprises a spool-shaped carrier element (20) which has an anterior flange (22) and a posterior flange (18) which are connected by a connection part (17). A coaxial duct (21) which leads into the anterior surface of the anterior flange (22) and which is closed adjacent to the posterior flange (18) is formed in the connection part (17). Several openings (24) leading into the duct (21) are provided on the outer face of the connection part (17). The connection part (17) is surrounded by filter material (11). In addition, several openings (23) are provided in the housing wall at the level of the connection part (17). |
