titleOfInvention constructive arrangement applied to a reactor for biological nitrogen removal from liquid effluents
abstract “Constructive disposition applied to a reactor intended for the biological removal of nitrogen from liquid effluents” the present utility model is located in the field of reactor apparatus intended for the processing of substrates using biological agents, more widely known and identified as bioreactors. more precisely, the object of the invention refers to a constructive arrangement applied to a pneumatically agitated concentric tube airlif reactor, intended for the biological removal of nitrogen from liquid effluents by the single-stage demonification process, especially effluents from activities pig farming. the essence of the proposed constructive configuration concerns the internal concentric tube of the reactor and aims to apply a specific spatial arrangement to the circulation of microorganisms in the reaction medium, such that it facilitates the optimization of the overall nitrogen removal process. single-stage deamonification consists of the combined conduction of partial nitrification and anammox processes and has been shown to be the best option for treating effluents with high concentrations of nitrogen, as is the case with swine effluents. the proposed utility model is inserted in the field of technologies aligned to the concept of environmental sustainability, consisting of a reactor material directed not only to the effluent treatment in compliance with the environmental requirements provided for in the legislation in force, but also a treatment solution aiming at reusing the resulting effluent, with the objective of reducing the consumption of treated water in the production systems.
