titleOfInvention | drug composition for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease |
abstract | drug composition for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease is a certificate of addition that provides for the development of a drug formed by the combination of two existing drugs, bethanechol and omeprazole, each with its pre-established concentration; the combination of these 2 drugs will allow the treatment of severe gastroesophageal reflux disease in an efficient manner, in which bethanechol will be used as a prokinetic, as it is a substance analogous to acetylcholine; and omeprazole acts to reduce the formation of hydrochloric acid (hcl) by the parietal cells of the stomach; thus, it will treat the disease and eliminate symptoms and discomforts, such as: heartburn, chronic acid regurgitations, extra-phageal manifestations and the like; offering an improvement in the quality of life of patients undergoing treatment, and also, it presents itself as a new alternative for curing the disease, if it is possible to “buy more time” for the development of children, preventing possible directions for undesirable surgeries. |
