| abstract |
A method for treating a tooth, a pretreatment device for a tooth, a dental treatment device comprising a device and method for optimized fluoride uptake are provided. The method includes pre-treating the tooth with a metal saline solution and then treating the tooth with a fluoride gel and electric current. A pretreatment tray includes a sponge for absorbent metal saline and for preventing mouth spillage. The treatment device includes at least two electrodes and an applicator for the application of an ionizable fluoride substance to the tooth. A current flow is provided, the flow of which flows through the device and external to the individual's body. |
