titleOfInvention PROCESS AND MOLDED ARTICLE
abstract The present disclosure provides a process. In one embodiment, the process includes providing pellets of a regrinded material. The regrind is a post-consumer recycling multi-layer film (PCR multi-layer film) with at least three layers. The PCR multilayer film is composed of (i) a polyethylene layer, (ii) a polyamide layer, and (iii) a bonding layer. The binding layer is composed of substantially linear maleic anhydride grafted ethylene polymer (MAH-g-SLEP) with a Mw/Mn of 1.5 to less than 3.5 and a melt index of 0.5 g/10 min to less than 25 g/10 min. The process includes extruding the pellets to form an extrudate, shaping the extrudate and forming, with the extrudate, a molded article having a surface. The surface of the molded article has a surface roughness value, Sa, of less than 1000 nm and a root mean square roughness value, Sq, of less than 1400 nm.
