Methods for enhancing spinal fusion and bone formation in individuals with spinal fractures, spinal deformities or instability are provided herein. the method includes administering (e.g., subcutaneously or transdermally) a therapeutically effective amount of abaloparatide to the subject. in one aspect, provided herein is a method of enhancing spinal fusion, including administering to a subject with a spinal fracture a therapeutically effective amount of abaloparatide so that spinal fusion is enhanced in the subject. |
