titleOfInvention ppr motif, use of ppr motif, protein capable of binding a target nucleic acid, fusion protein, methods for modifying a ppr protein containing the ppr motif, for manipulating a nucleic acid, for detecting a nucleic acid and for producing an organism Nucleic acid vector and cell
abstract ppr motif, use of the ppr motif, protein capable of binding a target nucleic acid, fusion protein, methods for modifying a ppr protein containing the ppr motif, for manipulating a nucleic acid, for detecting a nucleic acid and for producing an organism Nucleic acid vector and cell. in order to improve the aggregation property of the ppr protein, the a6 amino acid of the first ppr motif (m1) from the n-terminus (m1) is configured to be more hydrophilic. further, the a9 amino acid of m1 is configured to be a hydrophilic amino acid or glycine. the a6 amino acid is preferably asparagine or aspartic acid, and the a9 amino acid is preferably glutamine, glutamic acid, lysine or glycine. proteins including such ppr motifs as the m1 motif have not only an improved aggregation property, but also high affinity for a target nucleic acid.
