titleOfInvention Aqueous dispersion, processes for preparing an aqueous dispersion and for coating a substrate, use of an aqueous dispersion, and coated fertilizer seed or granule
abstract aqueous dispersion, processes for preparing an aqueous dispersion and for coating a substrate, use of an aqueous dispersion, and coated fertilizer seed or granule. the present invention provides an aqueous dispersion comprising (a) an active agent which is a humic substance and (b) fumed silica, wherein: the percentage by weight of the active agent in relation to the total weight of the dispersion is comprised between 1 to 50% ; and the weight ratio of active agent to fumed silica is from 1.5:1 to 75:1, particularly from 1.5:1 to 60:1. the invention also provides a process for their preparation, as well as their use as in coating a substrate, and the resulting coated substrate. the dispersion of the invention makes it possible to increase the amount of humic substances without adversely affecting the stability of the granule (in terms of dust and caking).
