abstract DEVICE AND METHOD FOR APPLICATIONnOF TOPICAL COMPOSITIONS GUIDED BY DESIGNED FIDUCIAL MARKERS.nThe present invention relates to a device and a method fornapplication of a composition to a treatment surface (e.g.n the skin). The device may include an optical emitter that projectsnfiducial markers on the skin; a detector that obtains image datan that correspond to an image of an area of skin marked with thenfiducial markers; an applicator that applies the composition to a spot on then skin area; and a processing arrangement. The disposition ofnprocessing receives the image data, analyzes the image data forn determine a skin area morphology based on the markersnfiducials captured in the image, identifies, based on morphology, anregion in the image that corresponds to the location targeted by thenapplicator, analyzes the image data to determine if the regionnidentified corresponds to a skin artifact, and directs the dispositionn applicator to selectively apply the composition to the spot when thenskin artifact is detected from the identified region.
