The present invention provides methods for obtaining cells derived from mesenchymal stem cells (msc) of chondro-osteoblastic lineage from mcs. the invention also relates to a population of cells derived from msc of chondro-osteoblastic lineage obtained by the methods, a pharmaceutical formulation comprising the population of cells derived from msc of chondro-osteoblastic lineage and its use in the treatment of a subject in need of transplantation of chondro-osteoblastic lineage cells. |
