“SPECIFIC EPYPE FOR SMO PROTEIN, ANTIBODY OR FRAGMENTnOF THE SAME, NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULE, VECTOR, HOST CELL,nVACCINE COMPOSITION, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION, USE OFnANTIBODY, METHOD FOR QUANTIFYING SMO PROTEIN, METHOD FORnPROVIDE INFORMATION REGARDING DISEASE DIAGNOSIS AND KIT FORnQUANTIFY SMO PROTEIN ”. The present invention identifies the influence of the TGFß / Smad3 / SMO molecular mechanism on cancer cells and elucidates that a high level of SMO expression is associated with the overall survival rate of cancer patients, demonstrating that SMO is a potential prognostic marker for cancer. The present invention relates to a specific SMO epitope as an antigen and an antibody or fragment thereof recognizing and binding specifically to the epitope. Therefore, the antibody of the present invention is expected to be useful as a therapeutic agent for SMO-related cancers. |
