Binding molecules are provided here, such as those that recognize or bind to a peptide epitope of a cancer antigen, as expressed in a cancer cell, including cells infected with human papilloma virus (HPV) or that contain DNA sequences of HPV and / or those that recognize or bind an HPV 16 E6 or E7 peptide epitope, in the context of a major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecule. Among the binding molecules provided are T cell receptors (TCRs) or antibodies, including their antigen binding fragments, which bind to or recognize such peptide epitopes. The present description further relates to modified cells comprising such binding molecules, for example, TCRs or antibodies (and chimeric antigen receptors containing the antibodies) and their uses in adoptive cell therapy. |
