| abstract | a progressive personal reward system is provided, with the aim of improving player satisfaction. the personal progressive payout system comprises, an entry member arranged to accept unique identifying information for a user, and betting information, the betting information having a stake value. the system additionally comprises a physical random number generator arranged to generate and emit a random number during an operating period; a memory arranged to access and store the identification information, the bet information and the random number, the memory additionally comprising a personal progressive payout value associated with the identification information; a controller arranged to modify the personal progressive payout amount; and a processor. the processor is arranged to perform the steps of: linking the identification information with a personal progressive payout value; calculate a personal progressive payout contribution from the stake; in which the controller is arranged to increase the value of personal progressive awards by said contribution of personal progressive awards; generate a win condition based on the random number; and compare the bet information with the win condition to determine one of: a first result, in which the bet information meets the win condition, and following the first result, the controller is arranged to reduce the personalized progressive payout value ; and a second result, in which the bet information does not satisfy the winning condition; where the personal progressive pay system provides a personalized gaming experience. in the provision of a progressive personal prize, the present invention allows a player to contribute only to his own total personal prize if preferred and reduces the propensity of the player's non-satisfaction, which is typically caused by another player winning a full prize to many players contributed. |
