titleOfInvention | method to produce saccharified solution by enzymatic technique using cellulosic biomass as raw material |
abstract | the present invention relates to the provision of a method of producing a saccharified solution, in which the cellulosic biomass is solubilized by enzymatic hydrolysis of the cellulose contained in the cellulosic biomass, the method being adapted to quickly solubilize the biomass, and to give a slurry , while maintaining a high concentration of solids in a reaction flask. the pulverized biomass and an aqueous solution, containing the enzyme hydrolyzing cellulose, are mixed in a reaction flask not including any deflector plates disposed inside, and the cellulosic biomass is solubilized under agitation. later, the contents of the reaction flask are transferred to another reaction flask, including a baffle plate disposed inside, and the enzymatic hydrolysis of the cellulose is allowed to proceed. the concentration of solids in the first reaction flask is preferably 15 to 30% by weight. the efficiency of agitation during enzymatic cellulose hydrolysis is enhanced, and in this way the amount of sugar production can be increased. |
