process for treating residual flux containing phosphite, characterized by the aforementioned process comprising the following steps: (a) optional neutralization of the residual flux up to pH in the range of 6.0-8.0; (b) adding the compounds following the residual flow in any order of addition; (i) an oxidizing compound, in order to oxidize said phosphite to phosphate, (ii) a source of nh4 + and (iii) a source of mg2 +, in order to form a precipitate; and (c) followed by isolation of the precipitate from the residual stream, in which the process is conducted under atmospheric pressure and a temperature of not more than 90 ° c. |
