abstract |
the present invention relates to high-solids suspension fertilizers containing macronutrients and micronutrients. fertilizers comprise at least one nutrient suspended in a liquid medium, together with a thickener and a dispersant. the liquid compositions advantageously comprise a suspension of larger fertilizer particles compared to the prior art compositions, providing a high solids content. fertilizers are compatible with seed treatments with fungicides and insecticides in the coating of agronomically important substrates, such as crop seeds or granulated fertilizers. liquid fertilizer production methods are also provided. |
