titleOfInvention antimicrobial additive and uv protection, and building material or finish
abstract the invention relates to antimicrobial additives and uv-free metal protection that can be used in construction or finishing materials, such as plasters, mortars, primers, colorants and other protective or decorative coatings to eliminate the growth of bacteria, fungi, algae and lichens and to protect the material against ultraviolet (uv) radiation. the additive comprises a mixed organophilic layer of smectite, chlorite, illite, carbonates, silica and hematite with the following component ratio (% by weight): mixed layer of 40 to 70% organophilic smectite; 5 to 10% chlorite; illicit from 5 to 10%; carbonates from 0 to 20%; 5 to 20% silica; hematite from 0 to 3%. the mixed layer of illite-smectite is organophilized with quaternary ammonium compounds used in the amount of 10 to 30%, counting from the necessary weight of the mixed layer of organophilic smectite.
