titleOfInvention MICROORGANISM THAT HAS ACYLTRANSFERASE ACTIVITY AND USES THEREOF
abstract The present disclosure relates to a polypeptide having an acyltransferase activity or a microorganism that includes the same; a composition for preparing N-acetyl-L-methionine, wherein the composition includes the polypeptide or microorganism; and a method for preparing N-acetyl-L-methionine using the polypeptide or microorganism. Additionally, the present disclosure relates to a polynucleotide that encodes the polypeptide and an expression vector that includes the polynucleotide. Since the microorganism that includes an innovative acyltransferase according to the present disclosure has enhanced acyltransferase activity, that microorganism can be used effectively to produce N-acetyl-L-methionine by acetylating L-methionine.
