Methods and systems are disclosed for determining a basal insulin rate adjustment in a continuous glucose monitoring system of a person with diabetes. One method may include receiving, through at least one computing device, a signal representative of at least one glucose measurement and detecting, through the at least one computing device, a person's glucose state based on the signal, the state glucose level including a person's glucose level and a change in glucose level. The method may further include calculating, through at least one computing device, an adjustment for a therapy delivery device based on the control-to-range algorithm and at least one constraint. failsafe to explain changes in insulin sensitivity of the person with diabetes or inaccurate glucose measurement. |
