titleOfInvention | 5-HYDROXYMETHYLFURUFURAL PRODUCTION PROCESS IN THE PRESENCE OF CATALYSTS FROM THE FAMILY OF HOMOGENEOUS SULFHONIC ACIDS IN THE PRESENCE OF AT LEAST ONE POLAR APROTIC SOLVENT |
abstract | 5-HYDROXYMETHYLFUFURAL PRODUCTION PROCESS IN THE PRESENCE OF CATALYSTS FROM THE FAMILY OF HOMOGENEOUS SULFHONIC ACIDS IN THE PRESENCE OF AT LEAST ONE POLAR APROTIC SOLVENT. The invention relates to a new process for transforming a filler comprising at least one sugar into 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, in which said filler is brought into contact with one or more catalysts from the family of homogeneous sulfonic acids in the presence of at least one polar aprotic solvent alone or in mixture, at a temperature comprised between 30 (degrees celsius) and 200 (degrees Celsius), and at a pressure comprised between 0.1 MPa and 10 MPa, wherein said catalysts are selected from among the compounds of formula general. |
