titleOfInvention multi-dose combined vaccine composition
abstract The present invention relates to a multi-dose immunogenic composition for a multivalent combined vaccine, wherein (i) the multivalent combined vaccine contains a whole cell pertussis (wp) vaccine or an acellular pertussis (ap) vaccine and a sabin inactivated polio vaccine (sipv); and (ii) the composition contains 2-phenoxyethanol (2-pe) and formaldehyde (hcho) as preservatives; and a method for preparing an immunogenic composition at various doses for a multivalent combined vaccine. It has been confirmed that the combination of 2-phenoxyethanol and formaldehyde according to the present invention is an excellent preservative capable of maintaining antimicrobial ability and that it can be effectively used to provide a multi-dose composition while maintaining the antimicrobial ability of the combined vaccine. Thus, the composition of the present invention can be effectively used in the combined dose vaccine industry.
