highly random acrylamide-acrylic acid copolymers are described. Ion crosslinking of highly random copolymers in dilute solution results in improved viscosity and gel strength compared to copolymers prepared by conventional methods. Ionically crosslinked copolymers are useful in enhanced oil recovery processes. |
