abstract |
reduced emissions in a jet fuel that has an aromatic content can be achieved by incorporating an amount of an aromatic kerosene fuel blend component, preferably a biodegraded synthetic aromatic kerosene, which comprises at least 90% by weight of aromatics, less than 10% by weight of indanes and tetralins and less than 1% by weight of naphthalene in a jet fuel in such a way as to meet the aroma content specification for jet fuels. a jet fuel that has aromatics content that has reduced number of nvpm emissions compared to the total equivalent aromatics content of petroleum-derived kerosene jet is obtained. |
