Arial The present invention relates to a non-woven fabric, which comprises a plurality of polypropylene-containing fibers that form a non-woven web, the fibers of which, in addition, contain a slip agent, the web has a side which is provided with a alternating pattern consisting of individualized bonded areas whose bonded areas are in the form of sticks which are arranged in the cross direction of the net, the alternating pattern of individual bonded areas defines an unbonded area, the net has a base weight in the range from from 5 to 25 g/m2, the surface of the bonded areas is in the range of 5 to 20% of the total surface of the side, and the surface of the unbonded area is in the range of 80 to 95% of the total surface of the side. The present invention further relates to a process for forming non-woven fabric. |
