abstract | CATALYST SYSTEM FOR THE POLYMERIZATION OF AN OLEFIN, ITS PREPARATION PROCESS, POLYOLFIN AND THE PROCESS OF PREPARING THE SAME. The present invention relates to a process for preparing a catalyst system suitable for olefin polymerization, comprising the steps of: A) providing the procatalyst obtainable by a process comprising the steps: i) contacting a R4zMgX4 2-z compound with an alkoxy or aryloxy containing silane compound to give a first intermediate reaction product; ii) optionally contacting the solid product obtained in step i) with at least one activator compound selected from the group formed by electron donating compounds and metal alkoxide activators; iii) contacting the first or second intermediate reaction products obtained, respectively, in step i) or ii), with a Ti compound containing halogen and, optionally, internal electron donor to obtain the procatalyst; B) contacting the procatalyst with a cocatalyst and at least diethylaminotriethoxysilane as an external donor. The invention also relates to a catalyst system obtained or obtainable by the process of the present invention and to a process for preparing a polyolefin by contacting at least one olefin with the catalyst system according to the invention. In addition, the invention relates to the polyolefin obtainable or obtainable by the process for preparing a polyelefin according to the present invention and to a composition comprising a propylene-ethylene copolymer and an article molded therefrom. In addition, the invention relates to the use of polyolefin. |
