----------------------- page 1---------------------- - 1/1 abstract "hair conditioning composition comprising ammonium thioglycolate and/or ammonium thiolactate" the present invention relates to hair conditioning composition which comprises reducing agent, alkalizing agent, conditioning agent and a buffering agent. the reducing agent is selected from ammonium thioglycolate; ammonium thiolactate and mixtures thereof. the conditioning agent is selected from silicone compounds, cationic surfactants, and mixtures thereof. the composition has a pH of 7.5 to 9.5 and a specific viscosity. the composition is substantially free of an additional reducing agent capable of reducing disulfide bonds in the keratin fibers. also disclosed are methods, processes, kits and associated uses. |
