abstract processes for improving the health of the respiratory system and increasing the concentration of hypochiocyanate ions in vertebrate lungs. the present description refers to processes and devices for improving the health of the respiratory system, increasing resistance to infection, and increasing hypochiocyanate ions in mammalian lungs. the processes generally comprise: generation of a hydrogen peroxide gas that is unhydrated and ozone-free, and targeting the gas primarily comprising hydrogen peroxide gas in an environment and exposing a subject to the environment so that the hydrogen peroxide gas acts to increase hypochiocyanate ions in mammalian lungs.
