abstract 1 / 1 abstract “cloth†The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cloth that has not only excellent flame retardancy, but also excellent stretching properties, as well as a textile product prepared using this cloth. the means to solve the problem involves obtaining a composite yarn using a spun yarn that contains flame retardant fibers for which the limiting oxygen index as measured by jis k7201 is 25 or more, and composite fibers in which two components are are joined together in a side-by-side manner or in an eccentric core/sheath manner, and thereafter using this composite yarn to obtain a cloth in which the weight ratio of flame retardant fibers is 75% by weight or more in relation to the weight of the cloth and the weight ratio of the composite fibers is in the range of 5-15% by weight in relation to the weight of the cloth.
