methods to reduce the aldehyde content in an amine catalyst and to reduce aldehyde emissions from a polyurethane material, and, packaged product. the present description provides a method for reducing the aldehyde content in an amine catalyst by treating the amine catalyst with an organic acid. the amine catalyst treated with an organic acid can then be used in the production of polyurethane materials that have reduced aldehyde emissions. |
