titleOfInvention method for increasing fungal resistance in a plant, recombinant vector construction, transgenic plant, method for producing transgency plant, use of any of the exogenous nucleic acids, part that can be harvested from a transgenic plant, product derived from a plant , method for producing a product and method for growing a fungal resistant plant
abstract abstract “method for increasing fungal resistance, for producing a transgenic plant, for producing a product and for cultivating a fungal resistant plant, recombinant vector construct, transgenic plant, use of any of the exogenous nucleic acids, part that can be harvested from a transgenic plant and product derived from a plant" the present invention relates to a method of increasing resistance against fungal pathogens of the phacosporaceae family in plants and/or in plant cells. this is achieved by increasing the expression of an hcp6 protein in a plant, part of the plant and/or a plant cell compared to wild-type plants, wild-type plant parts and/or wild-type plant cells. in addition, the invention relates to transgenic plants, plant parts and/or plant cells with increased resistance against fungal pathogens, in particular pathogens of the phacopsoraceae family, for example soybean rust, and recombinant expression vectors, which comprise a sequence that is identical or homologous to a sequence encoding an hcp6 protein.
