titleOfInvention METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL ARTICLE PRODUCTION, METHOD FOR OBTAINING A CUT OPTICAL ARTICLE AND OPTICAL ARTICLE
abstract METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AN OPTICAL ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED ANTI-FULING PROPERTIES The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of an optical article comprising the following steps: - providing a substrate having two main faces and carrying -OH functions on at least one of its faces, - expose, successively, in that order, one face of the substrate that carries -OH functions to at least 3 different materials called M1, M2, M3 and, optionally, an M4 material in one vacuum chamber under conditions that result in the deposit of these materials on the surface of the substrate and where: - M1 is a substituted silane comprising at least one X1 function bonded directly to a Si atom of the substituted silane in which the Si-X1 group can form a covalent bond with an OH group of the substrate, where X1 is preferably a hydrolyzable group (such as an -NH2 group) or an -OH group bonded directly to the silicon atom and comprising at least one group containing fl uor, -M2 is a substituted silane of number average molecular weight less than or equal to 900 g/mol comprising at least one X2 function bonded directly to a silicon atom of said substituted silane in which the Si-S2 group can form a bond covalently with a -OH group of the substrate and/or a covalent bond with M1, wherein X2 is preferably a hydrolysable group (such as a -NH2 group) or an OH group and at least one hydrophobic or oleophobic group or at least one hydrophilic group , - wherein M1 has a weight average molecular weight greater than M2 and the difference between weight average molecular weights of M1 and M2 is equal to or greater than 600 g/mol, preferably equal to or greater than 900 g/mol . -M3 is a metal fluoride, -an optional M4 is a non-fluorinated metal oxide or metal hydroxide.
