titleOfInvention method for producing optical article with improved antifouling properties
abstract 1/1 abstract "method for producing an optical article with improved antifouling properties" the invention relates to a method for manufacturing an optical article comprising the following steps: -providing a substrate that has two main faces and that carries functions of -oh on at least one of its faces, expose, successively, in that order, a face of the substrate that carries functions of -oh to at least 3 different materials named m1, m2, m3 and, optionally, a material m4 in a vacuum chamber under conditions that result in the deposition of these materials on the surface of the substrate and wherein: -m1 is a substituted silane comprising at least one x1 function bonded directly to a si atom of the substituted silane wherein the The si-x1 group can form a covalent bond with an oh group on the substrate, where x1 is preferably a hydrolyzable group (such as an -nh2 group) or an -oh group bonded directly to the silicon atom and comprising at least one group thatcontains fluorine, -m2 is a substituted silane of numerical average molecular weight less than or equal to 900 g/mol which comprises at least one x2 function directly linked to a silicon atom of said substituted silane in which the si-s2 group can form a covalent bond with an -oh group of the substrate and/or a covalent bond with m1, where x2 is preferably a hydrolyzable group (such as an -nh2 group) or an oh group and at least one hydrophobic or oleophobic group or at least one group hydrophilic, -wherein m1 has a weight average molecular weight greater than m2 and the difference between the weight average molecular weights of m1 and m2 is equal to or greater than 600 g/mol, preferably equal to or greater than 900 g/mol mole -m3 is a metal fluoride, -an optional m4 is a non-fluorinated metal oxide or metal hydroxide.
