1 / 1 abstract “water-soluble hydrophobic-mere-copollon†, process for the preparation of a water-soluble hydrophobic-mere-association copolan The present invention relates to water-soluble hydrophobic association copolymers which are obtained in the presence of of a non-polymerizable surface-active compound and which comprise novel monomers of association in a hydrophobic manner. the monomers comprise an ethylene-unsaturated group and a polyester block, the polyester block comprising a hydrophilic polyethyleneoxy block and a hydrophobic polyalkyleneoxy block consisting of alkyleneoxy units having at least 4 carbon atoms. the monomers may optionally have a polyethyleneoxy terminal block. the invention further relates to the processes for preparing the copolymers and the use thereof. |
