The present invention relates to the use of nanocompounds as non-deactivating security markers comprising a charge transfer complex of at least two different sized metal atomic aggregates (ACQs). These nanocompounds are luminescent, partially fluorescent after external excitation. The invention also relates to documents, articles or security elements that incorporate such markers, as well as a method and system for detecting them. |
