1 / 1 abstract “personal care composition” personal care compositions are described, comprising an emollient-containing gel formed from an aqueous gel composition comprising: a mixture gel forming agent comprising: a) methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, or mixtures thereof, and b) xanthan gum, gellan, gelatin, pectin, caragenan, alganic acid, alginates, curdlan, guar gum, fenugreek gum, gum locust bean, konjac gum, agarose, or mixtures thereof, in a weight ratio of 1:8 to 8:1; and from 1 to 40% by weight of an emollient; provided that the gel containing emollient exhibits shear thinning behavior. |
