PROCESS FOR THE PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION OF AN ARTICLE IN A DAMP ENVIRONMENT AND COMPOSITION FOR SUCH. The present invention relates to a process for the corrosion protection of an article, comprising the steps of (a) applying a layer of a corrosion protection composition comprising (i) an amorphous polymer composition comprising an amorphous polymer having a glass transition temperature of -20 ° C or less, and (ii) a water-absorbing load on a surface of the article, and (b) applying a mechanical protection layer on top of the corrosion protection composition layer, where the article is in a humid environment. The invention further relates to a corrosion protection composition and a tape comprising a layer comprising a corrosion protection composition according to the invention. The invention also relates to an article comprising (a) a layer of a corrosion protection composition according to the invention on a surface of the article, and (b) a mechanical protection layer to protect the layer of the corrosion protection composition corrosion. |
