| abstract | 1/1 "absorbent article comprising a fragrance or odor control composition" The present invention relates to an absorbent article selected from a sanitary napkin, an incontinence tampon and a panty liner comprising an upper layer a lower layer, optionally one or more intermediate layers included between an upper layer and the lower layer, a fastening adhesive applied to said lower layer garment facing surface and an applied odor control or fragrance liquid composition to one or within a layer of said absorbent article. the liquid fragrance or odor control composition comprises from 5 to 50% by weight of one or more esters selected from menthyl acetate, menthyl lactate, menthyl propionate, menthyl butyrate, cis-3-hexenyl acetate methyl dihydro jasmonate, methyl jasmonate, hexyl isobutyrate, linalyl acetate, benzyl acetate, phenyl ethyl acetate and less than 5% by weight of other esters. The resulting articles of the present invention have reduced degradation of the adhesive adhesive layer due to migration of fragrance composition or odor control components into the adhesive adhesive layer. |
