abstract | MICROCAPULES, PROCESS OF PRODUCTION OF SUCH MICROCAPULES AND COMPOSITIONS USING SUCH MICROCAPULES. The present invention relates to a method of forming microcapsules containing active ingredient by the steps of (i) emulsifying the active compound in water in the presence of a polymeric emulsifier, (ii) adding a mixture of at least 2 silanes to the emulsion then formed and hydrolysis thereof before (iii) forming a coating by increasing the pH, characterized in that (iv) the polymeric emulsifier also acts as a modeling agent for organosilicon compounds; (v) silanes are compounds of Formula (I), where R is independently C1-C4 alkyl or linear or branched alkene, optionally including a functional group selected from amino and epoxy, m is 1-4 and selected such that they are At least 2 silanes with different functionalities are present m. The resulting microcapsules have excellent properties, and are especially effective for use with fragrances. |
