METHOD OF INCREASING PLANT Yield IN SOIL CONTAINING HIGH LEVELS OF AL3 +, METHOD OF INCREASING TOLERANCE OF A PLANT, USE OF AN ISOLATED NUCLEIC ACID, FOOD PRODUCT. Methods and materials for modulating aluminum tolerance in plants are disclosed. For example, nucleic acids encoding aluminum tolerance modulating polypeptides are disclosed, as are methods for using these nucleic acids to transform plant cells. Also disclosed are plants with greater tolerance to aluminum and methods of increasing plant yield in the soil containing high levels of aluminum. |
