abstract patent of invention: "method to adjust hydrogen to the proportion of carbon monoxide in synthesis gas". the present invention relates to the "biomass to liquid" protocols. a method for adjusting hydrogen to the ratio of carbon monoxide to synthesis gas contaminated by sulfur impurities involving a water gas transfer reaction (wgs) is described here. because of the presence of sulfur impurities, wgs should be implemented as an acid gas transfer. however, wgs provided good results using an unsulfidated catalyst. some modalities provide conditions that contribute to further intensification of the intensified co conversion in said reaction. the hydrocarbons or derivatives thereof obtained from said method can also be refined and used to produce fuels or lubricants for combustion engines. |
