An edible receptacle preparation process is also provided, wherein the process comprises the steps of: (a) dosing a required amount of edible receptacle ingredients into a carrier mold, wherein the ingredients comprise 0.01% by weight. 15 wt.% binder weight and at least 50 wt.% dry particulate material, wherein the particles have an average diameter of 0.001 to 5 mm and a water content of at most 5% by weight; (b) inserting a molding tool into the ingredients in the support mold; and (c) vibrating the molding tool at an ultrasonic frequency to shape the ingredients in the edible receptacle of the desired shape.
