abstract dna involved in the regulation of gene expression in photosynthetic tissue. the present invention relates to a DNA expression regulator of the gene having the activity of promoting the expression of the gene in a specific way for the mature leaf. the following is provided: dna gene expression regulator having the activity of promoting the expression of the gene in a specific way for the mature leaf, which comprises any of the following (a) to (d): (a) dna consisting of the nucleotide sequence shown in sequence no: 1; (b) dna consisting of a nucleotide sequence that has a removal, substitution, addition, or insertion of one or a plurality of nucleotides in the nucleotide sequence shown in sequence no: 1 and having the activity of promoting expression of gene in a specific way for the mature leaf; (c) dna consisting of a nucleotide sequence having 90% or more sequence identity with the nucleotide sequence shown in sequence: 1 and having activity to promote gene expression in a specific manner for the mature leaf; and (d) dna hybridizing under severe conditions with dna consisting of a sequence complementary to part or all of the nucleotide sequence shown in sequence no. 1 and having the activity of promoting gene expression in a specific way for the mature leaf .
