titleOfInvention Production method of recombinant glycoproteins with increased circulatory half-life in mammalian cells
abstract Method of Production of Recombinant Glycoproteins with Increased Circulatory Half-Life in Mammalian Cells The present invention relates to methods and recombinant expression systems for the production of recombinant glycoproteins that have increased sialic acid content and contain predominantly alpha2- 6 sialium. Recombinant glycoproteins having an increased circulatory half-life in vivo are also provided herein. A potential application of the glycoproteins described herein is for the treatment and prophylaxis of neurotoxin poisoning.
