aluminum salt containing high percentage of al30. a composition comprising an aluminum hydrochloride salt, the aluminum hydrochloride salt having at least 50 mole% of aluminum hydroxy cation of all polyhydroxy aluminum cations detectable by quantitative aluminum nmr within the salt of aluminum. aluminum hydrochloride, and a buffering agent. The composition may optionally include zirconium. Also disclosed are a method of manufacturing an aluminum salt which utilizes a higher molar concentration of a starting aluminum salt with a buffering agent, a method of reducing perspiration with the aluminum hydrochloride salt, and a method of treating water with the aluminum hydrochloride salt. |
