titleOfInvention polymer nanocomposite
abstract polymer nanocomposite. The present invention relates to a polymer nanocomposite comprising a polymer; and a derivatized nanoparticle to include functional groups including carboxy, epoxy, ether, ketone, amine, hydroxy, alkoxy, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkaryl, lactone, oligomeric or polymeric functional groups, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing functional groups. . The variability in tensile strength and percentage allocation for the polymer nanocomposite is less than the variability of these properties obtained in which a non-derivatized nanoparticle is added in place of the derivatized nanoparticle.
