titleOfInvention MICROPOROUS MATERIAL AND MULTILAYER ARTICLE
abstract MICROPOROUS MATERIAL AND MULTI-LAYER ARTICLE. A microporous material including a polyolefin matrix material is provided; substantially water-insoluble and finely divided filler distributed throughout the matrix material, where the filler includes a positive amount of titanium dioxide; a network of interconnected pores communicating throughout the microporous material; and optionally, a contrast-enhancing amount of a contrast-enhancing material. The sum of the weight percent of the titanium dioxide and the weight percent of the optional contract enhancer material is at least 3 weight percent based on the total weight of the microporous material. There are also provided multilayer articles having a layer of the microporous material.
