abstract | Diagnostic Composition The present invention relates to a novel x-ray diagnostic composition which has a superior cardiac safety profile. The composition comprises a nonionic dimer iodinated in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. more particularly, the invention provides a diagnostic composition comprising a compound i, a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, and a dissolved sodium compound and a calcium compound providing a sodium ion concentration of 40 to 50 mm and an ion concentration of calcium from 0.1 to 7 mm.
