CATALYST COMPONENT FORnPOLYMERIZATION OF OLEFINS, PROCESS FOR PREPARING A COMPONENT OFnCATALYST, CATALYST FOR THE POLYMERIZATION OF AN OLEFIN FORMULAnCH2=CHR AND PROCESS TO POLYMERIZE OLEFINS. A component is disclosedncatalyst for olefin polymerization, which comprises a productn reaction of the following components: (1) a spherical carrier 10;n(2) a titanium compound; and optionally, (3) an electron donor,nwherein the spherical carrier comprises a reaction product ofnat least the following components: (a) a magnesium halidenrepresented by the general formula MgX2-nRn, where X is, 15nindependently, chloride or bromide, R is a C1-C14 alkyl group,nC6-C14 aryl, C1-C14 alkoxy, or C6-C14 aryloxy, and n is 0 or 1;n(b) an alcohol; and (c) an epoxy represented by the general formula (I);n(I) 20 in which R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, a groupnlinear or branched C1-C5 alkyl, or a groupnlinear or branched C1-C5 haloalkyl.
