abstract |
granulation process and granules thus prepared. the present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of granules containing microcrystalline ezetimibe, in which a) ezetimibe is dissolved; b) the dissolved ezetimibe is precipitated with water, which if necessary contains pharmaceutical excipients, preferably derived from lauryl sulfate; and c) granulates are formed from the suspension obtained by spraying the suspension on pharmaceutical excipients. another aspect of the present invention is the granulate obtained by the present process and the pharmaceutical composition containing such granulate. |
