The present invention relates to Nanoformulations comprising fenretinide, the Process for obtaining said nanoformulations and their Use in the preparation of a medicament for the chemoprevention of breast cancer and/or the prevention and/or treatment of skin and mucosal cancer. More particularly, the present invention comprises three approaches of ethosomal nanotechnologies, which allowed the incorporation of phenrenithine (FENR) in optimized nanoformulations, increasing its solubilization in aqueous vehicles. The aforementioned process for obtaining the nanoformulations was prepared using selected routes of ethanol injection and film hydration followed by post-film techniques, comprising steps of preparation of a lipid solution, drug and alcohol, with or without the addition of ethanol, followed by pumping. of this phase in water in ethanol or in surfactant micelles, with system agitation and membrane extrusion, removal of non-encapsulated drugs by differential centrifugation and removal of the supernatant from the system.
